Historial de Touraine- Saint Martin

Saint Martin, Bishop of Tours and founder of the Abbey of Marmoutier, blesses the young Patrick, who will leave to evangelize Ireland.

A closer view of the two saints. Such incredible detail in this museum which is part of Musée Grévin in France, and is located at Chateau Royal 25 av. Andre-Malraux , France.

Historial de Touraine opened in 1984 in the formal royal castle of Tours. Grévin sold the Historial de Touraine in 1998. It closed at the beginning of the 2000s. Wax figures were auctioned at the Hotel Drouot in Paris 15 february 2006 for 225 000 €.
There were marvelous catalogs of the auction.

Thank you for the information about the museum, and for the link. I am sad to hear that the museum closed.
