With the success of the Paris Spectacular Wax Museum at the 1962 Seattle World's Fair, the Walters brothers brought their wax museum to the 1964/65 New York World's Fair. Here we see Lyndon B. Johnson in the Presidential section of the museum. John F. Kennedy helped break ground on the fair, but it was Johnson who would serve as president during the run of the exposition. The wax figure captures Johnson's usually "pleasant" disposition quite well.
A close up of the President. I can't tell if the figure makes him look upset, half asleep, drunk, or bored.

Thanks for sharing the information on Walter's International Wax Museum. Here's a page from my site with some more information on that exhibit from the World's Fair:

Thanks for the comment bill. I love your website, and trust me, it wasn't my first time visiting it. My publicity photo of the Beatles shows the same thing with all of the figures. They just didn't hold their guitars. Actually, the wax museum did relocate to California. The Wide World in Wax Museum opened in Anaheim, and only lasted a short while. do a search for it at http://outsidetheberm.blogspot.com and you'll see an old brochure. The moses figure, last supper, and Life in Versailles scenes all made it to the new museum, and I'm sure a bunch others, I just don't know which ones. I don't know what happened after the museum closed, but I'm positive you're right that the collection was split up.
