National Presidential Wax Museum- George Washington

(1732-1799)

The National Presidential Wax Museum (Formerly Parade of Presidents) in Keystone South Dakota is a terrific example of the historically themed wax museum. Here we see George Washington (President from 1789-1797), his wife Martha, and Betsy Ross with the flag of the United States. The making of the flag is one of the many historical events represented at the museum, and the scene is wonderfully decorated.

George Washington contemplating the repercussions of independence from England, or just admiring Betsy's handiwork with the flag.

Martha Washington(1731-1802). They made her figure look a lot older than the George Washington one.

Betsy Ross (1752-1836) smiling joyfully at the President.
