Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf- MLK

(1929-1968)

In the spirit of the holiday, today's post focuses on Martin Luther King's wax figure at the Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. Because of the holiday weekend, MLK's figure stands prominently out in front of the museum. Although it does seem strange that it shares a rotating platform with Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears. For the time being, this figure is included as one of the free sneak preview figures that are on display in the lobby. Who knows who will replace him, maybe Barry Bonds again.

King stands in full pose, giving a powerful speech no doubt.
