Mammoth Cave Wax Museum- Robert E. Lee

1807-1870
"General Robert E. Lee was one of our Nation's greatest generals
and his strategy was so brilliant that military men still study it today."

Here is a vintage shot from the mammoth Cave Wax Museum in Cave City Kentucky. Robert E. Lee, General of the Southern Army, originally supported the Northern position, but when his home State of Virginia seceded his loyalty caused him to fight for the South.

Unfortunately, Lee was unable to pose for his figure (obviously). The resemblance comes mainly from the beard and the clothing. Mess up its hair and clothes, and this figure could also be Walt Whitman.
